ISO20 - Tool Cups for ATC Systems

No ATC setup is complete without a reliable place to park your tools.

PwnCNC Tool Cups are designed to securely hold our ISO20 tool holders while they wait to be picked up by your Automatic Tool Changer. Whether you're building a compact ATC setup, working around a dust boot, or need removable tool storage for pass-through jobs, these 3D printed tool cups give you flexible mounting options for your machine.

ISO20 tool holders are sold separately. If you purchased a PwnCNC ATC System, four Flush Mount Tool Cups are included with your system.

Available Styles

Tall Tool Cup

The Tall Tool Cup raises the ISO20 tool holder higher above your spoilboard, with the end of the collet nut sitting roughly 1" above the surface. This style is ideal for spindle-mounted dust boots because it helps keep the brush material from being compressed against the spoilboard during tool changes.

The Tall Tool Cup requires a 1" clearance hole in your spoilboard so the bit can extend below the surface.

Short Tool Cup

The Short Tool Cup keeps the ISO20 tool holder lower, with the collet nut sitting just above the spoilboard. This option works well for setups without a dust boot, or for users who want a lower-profile tool rack while still allowing the bit to extend into the spoilboard.

The Short Tool Cup also requires a 1" clearance hole in your spoilboard.

Flush Mount Tool Cup

The Flush Mount Tool Cup positions the ISO20 tool holder as low as possible while still providing proper alignment for ATC pickup and drop-off. This is the standard style included with our ATC Systems and is a great option for clean, compact tool storage directly on your spoilboard or tool rack surface.

The Flush Mount Tool Cup requires a 1" clearance hole for the bit.

Magnetic Tool Cup

The Magnetic Tool Cup uses a flush-mounted magnetic base that allows the tool cup and ISO20 tool holder to be removed when needed. This is especially useful when you need full pass-through clearance, extra workspace, or plan to run a job using manual tool changes instead of the ATC.

When the tool cup is needed again, simply place it back onto the magnetic base and continue using your ATC setup.

Choosing the Right Style

Each tool cup style is designed for a specific ATC layout and clearance requirement. We recommend choosing the style that best matches your setup and keeping your tool locations consistent. Avoid mixing different tool cup heights in the same ATC rack unless your machine has been configured specifically for that layout.

  • Use Tall when running a spindle-mounted dust boot.
  • Use Short for lower-profile setups without a dust boot.
  • Use Flush for the standard compact ATC arrangement.
  • Use Magnetic when you want removable tool storage for pass-through or manual tool-change jobs.

Designed for PwnCNC ISO20 ATC Systems

These tool cups are designed around PwnCNC ISO20 tool holders and our ATC ecosystem. They are simple, durable 3D printed components made to give your tools a repeatable place to wait between tool changes.

We are always developing new ways to mount, position, and customize ATC tool racks. If you have an idea for a tool cup or rack style that would better fit your machine, reach out to us at [email protected].
